I have lots of pimples, and I'm currently looking for pimple 'cures.' Please don't suggest products because most cost a lot and not all products are available in my area. I heard about toothpaste... Are there any others?

I've used toothpaste ONCE. It removed a small pimple completely from my nose, but I stopped using it later on... It didn't dry my face, but I think that's because I used a moisturizing facial wash before applying it..

Toothpaste is quite harsh to the skin - I hope you haven't tried it already! But if you have, don't use it anymore. It's too drying to the skin.

Try putting plain yoghurt on your face twice every week. Leave it on your face for about 15 minutes, then just rinse with warm water. It works WONDERS! Makes your skin smooth and soft.

Cleanliness is the only real cure. There are no "home made" pimple treatments on the market. Every once in a while you'll hear about some amazing miracle treatment, that some young pimply faced youth goes through, with amazing results. It's really a matter of timing and hormones. All being in the right place at the right time. Other then pimples, acne on the other hand is a different animal. This has to be treated by a dermatologist with his bag of miracle drugs.

Hard to answer your question. Some forms of acne need to be treated by a doctor depending on the severity. You could try modifying your diet as you may be eating or drinking something that is aggravating the condition. You said not to suggest products but there is one very cheap one that is effective, and unless you live in the desert or north pole, you should be able to get. It is called mud or mud mask. After thoroughly washing your face, you apply this and leave it on until it dries(some folks leave it on at night while they sleep)then wash it off. I don't know your age, but on the bright side if you are a teenager, this too shall pass. Good luck.
