Don't have a clue about instant messaging - but generally I always try to be myself, relax and be confident with who I am, and open to the differences of others....Maybe find someone in person, as you never know who on the other end of the message if you know what I mean!

Ok start from instant messenger by sending emoiticons stuff more frequently. Update your profile Make it more attractive to him/her, i dont know maybe upload your pictures and stuff. Sure that would work.

wow..that's kinda tough, u know.. i mean, gettin someone to like u aint easy at all..(assumption: i like u = i wanna be ur boyfriend/girlfriend).. i dun think u can really force these kinda things..
but this is wat i think..if someone's gonna like u, n that person is someone u wanna be with,then i think that person outta like u for who u are..not what u're tryin to look like..
so it might mean that u gotta let him know u inside out no matter what...cuz if he likes u because u're only showin him ur good side, then when he discovers ur other side, he might jus leave u.. dont u think so?.. if he likes u, he gotta like u knowin all ur bad side too, i guess...
but if u wanna make a guy jus like u for fun, then i think u can jus be a fun girl... naughty, a lil teasing, flirtin.. playin cold or angry at times..u can ask him lotsa questions about himself.. make him tell u his story.. then i guess u've got the guy crazy for u..
but for both, i think "time" is the most important.. the time u spend with him indicates ur attention to him.. i dunno whether this really works for instant messenger..but who knows?...
