Hi, I am 14 years of age and traveling to Phuket in a few days. Apparently they rarely ask for ID, is this true? I have been told I look 16 seeing as I am quit tall for my age.
What do you think?

I think if you want to do something "naughty" just because you are tall and look 16 for your age - you will go out and do it anyway. The question is, are you stupid enough to take the risk? Sure, you might not be asked ID. But just that ONE chance of being asked, what happens then? You might not get into any trouble - they might turn you away. But if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, let me tell you, young man, Thailand is NOT the place you want to be on the wrong side of the law!!! Many many young foreign tourists found out the hard way.
Go ahead - have fun. You will enjoy Thailand. But if you decide to take the risk and get into trouble, don't say you didn't think it can happen to you or that you weren't warned.

What are you planning to do in Phuket? You are definitely too young to be going drinking. Best to enjoy the place and the food while you are ther. And there are cultural shows and theme parks to keep you occupied.

depends on what u will do,some activities is okay to do (with out id checking) even u are 14.
but some are risky even for the adult.
well,enjoy your trip and do what u want with your brain and conscious.

It's better to not doing anything to against law in Thailand I saw many foreigner who get in trouble in Thailand, Most of them go to Jail...
