As others have said, more information is needed. Generally, the Home Office is fairly slow, but asylum applicants should get an initial decision within a couple of months usually. You need to get advice from a solicitor, law centre, or citizens advice bureau.

Yes they do but decision need to be made if you will be granted the right to remain in the UK
