I'm nearly 22, all my relationships with girls have been one night stands or only a few days long. It's as though I don't want anyone to get to 'really' know me. It just looks as though i'm the most superficial guy. I think that's what my housemates think of me! But I really don't know if I could have an actual 'long-term' relationship with someone.... I'm a pretty shy guy, you wouldn't know it though on the amount of flings I have... but I actually want a proper girlfriend, someone who I can talk to as well as all the other stuff... I don't know...

If you are shallow I must be transparent. I am 37 and I have never had a relationship more than a few months. And I am not as big of a jerk as people make me out to be. Lets just face the fact we live in a society were it is easier to find sex than it is to find a relationship. Most women are as non-committal as men. Women have jobs and careers and so much going on that most really don't want a LTR. So Dude I feel your pain. Just be glad you get it every now and then and hang in there. Don't rush and most importantly be careful.

its normal ur young... but if u want a proper girl.. treat them properly... otherwise hello ur only out looking for whores and thats what ull get... uh duh...
stop trying to sleep with them and then ull find someone that doesnt sleep with u right away...
and if ur really not ready to get into a relationship... let that be known when u meet them... honesty best policy... but yeah thats ok ur still immature and young... there is the whole world to see still so why do u feel pressured to settle down.. theres no need to...

Happened to me as well. I have had exactly the same emotions. Nice girl came along and I married her. 25 Years ago, and still on honeymoon. Don't try to idealize this guys who date zillions of girls. I guess you might be good marriage material.

I think that it could be solved. If you want a true girlfriend, just go up to the girl U like, not wait for them to come to you, and propose her. You might be lucky enough to get your hands on her!
