"Creation" is a theological concept, and is a matter of belief and faith. "Creationism" on the other hand purports to be science, and should be assessed according to scientific principles. On those criteria it is garbage, a pseudoscience.
The Bible's description can only coexist with history and science if you read the Bible theologically - that is aiming to discover God, rather than discover literal history or science.

As for evidence of Evolution, consider that Radiographic dating is still consider an theory without any empirical evidence to back it up. It can only date things older than 1 million years. As for the so called missing links, I think we will one day learn that they are the skulls of the children of the fallen angels. The were large and consider almost like animals. Their fathers were beings who base form was intelligent energy. I can only imagine what this would do to not only the genetic bonding, but also to the very nature of them at the atomic level.
As for the best example of whether evolution from a lower form of species is possible, I give you the Human Brain.

Without the need of a creator, what evolutionary pressure could cause the need for this much volume that would take that long to fill? Clearly, man was either created by God to live that long, or if evolve, once lived that long, and has since de-evolved to what we are today. Which do you think it is?
Evolution does take place, in that animals have evolved and humans have de-evolved since the time of the creation. Many divergent species are related, such as the Meerkat/Hyena and the Lion/House cat. A house cat can breed with a lion, I wonder if the same is possible the Hyena and Meerkat?
This is why I believe in God. I use the brain he gave me, and designed for me, to determine something beyond imagining.

Creation fits in just fine with fossil records, & I don't see anywhere in the bible that it says this earth is only 6000 yrs old, This earth is millions of yrs. Old. The prehistoric world is actually in the bible if Christians Study it correctly & not just read over it. Yes, I am a Christian,

There is no evidence to be able to confirm and prove that evolution is more than just a theory.
The Bible as the inspired word of our Creator,sets out cleary man's creation and the creation of earth and its developement to be able to support life.
I firmly believe that the theory of evolution is nothing more than another of Satan's ploys to confuse and draw people away from Jehovah God.

this is a good question, i believe in the "big bang" theory. im not religous, i dont believe in god. evolution and all that stuff is a very good piece of evidence that scientists are correct.

the pope believes in the theory of evolution but i suspect that it may allways be gods secret how ,science needs machine god simply needs say be and it is.
and it was ,we can back track ,figure out whats what but yet science cant demonstrate it
