i am 23 years old...i have many good friends but none of them is
a girl...actually till today i never had a friend who is a girl..i have felt that to become friends with a girl you need to behave differently than you normally do..you have to flirt and so on...but i dont like to do that..but i seriously want to have friends who are girls..not girlfriends..what should i do..?

Well if you are from India, it can happen....
If you went to a boys school, engineering et cetera, all possibility is you would have been around guys most of the time, hence its natural your friends are all guys.
Well it doesnt matter if you are straight or gay, its always good to have friends from both spectrums, guys & gals.
Well now for your solution, in case of girls, I guess, you will need to go out of your way to make friends. Mebbe, start with your collegues in office, be nice & sensitive with them, and show that you can be an dependable friend. But you will need to handle your gal friends differently, than what with you with your guy friends.

Be a friend and nothing more, be honest and be yourself. Most of my friends are women and I don't do anything other than be who I am and be a friend to them. It may be that your just a type of guy women cannot feel close to as a friend, or they feel you intentions are different but there is no need to act like someone your not to gain a friend female or not. Its not worth it because if you got to be fake to keep them as a friend than the two of you are not really friends in the first place.

Assuming that you are a male my only suggestion is that maybe you need to find a different group of people to hang out with. I am in exactly the opposite group from you all my friends are males and i am a female. i have female aqquaintances but not friens that are female. so just be yourself.

I know what you mean.. sometimes when I'm friends with a guy I feel like everything is cool between us and then all the sudden one day he will start hitting on me for no aparent reason. I don't know why guys feel like they HAVE to make every relationship with female peers a sexual one.

be yourself. you dont have to behave drastically different just be more polite and no bad words thats a put off! you are a nice guy and girls loev nice guys! i do!!!
