Vehicles do not have Log Books any more, only the registration certificate document is what you have now and is called, (V5C)
You will have to complete a
V62 Vehicle Registration Certificate Application Form (a fee may be payable) which is available from any Post Office branch, DVLA Local office or website http://www.dvla.gov.uk and send it to DVLA,
Alternatively contact DVLA on 0870 240 0010

Sorry I wudnt have a clue, but whatever you need to do I suggest you find out pronto, longer you leave it, twill cause confusion among stuff lyk that i think.
