You'll probably think I'm mad, but I actually painted the bathroom suite in the house I bought. It doesn't look too bad. I painted the bath white because it was so large, and the toilet and washbasin in pillar box red. I love it.

Wow...work with what you have by making it look intentional. Don't go white or creme...that makes the walls disappear and the tub and stuff stand out. You don't want that. To make it look intentional (and very cool), pick about 5 colors of green that are a shade or two off of the fixtures you have (try going paler...to the grey green side rather than the yellow green side). Mark a chairrail line at about 4feet up. Paint the bottom half a darker shade of the greens you chose, the top portion a lighter shade, and then put either a wood chair rail or a walpaper border at that chairrail height. (Be sure you choose a muted border with lots of shades of green). Use the other 2 colors of green and a rich cream to choose pictures, towels, and accessories. Trust me on these color choices. You won't be sorry. You'll be surprised how an eye sore can be transformed into a luxurious oasis for the eyes!!

Ah yes the dreaded avocado suite. I would have to agree with the majority and say white or an off white. If you try and paint the walls apple white it'll look worse. To jazz it up a bit buy pink towels and bath mats or. Trust me they will contrast well with the dull green suite.

A light peachy colour would match well and would soften the look of the bathroom suite.

pick white
if you pick another colour you will just be making the bathroom look "busy" and even more dated than the green suite already does
