£15.50 covers examination,x-rays,scale and polish
£42.50 covers all above plus fillings, root canals and extractions
£189.00 covers all above plus dentures, crowns and bridges.
There are only 3 price scales now,but some nhs dentist will not undertake the work covered by the £189.00,check first before having the work done.
Also if you require any work done within 2 months of seeing a dentist it is free if it falls under the same price cover.

The NHS will charge around £20-25 for removal of a tooth and about £6 for an x-ray.

It really depends on what kind of extraction. There is a simple extraction and a surigal extraction. It depends on what tooth it is and if its impacted into the bone or not. The xray needed for an extraction is called a panoramic which runs about 40-60 dollars.Your dentist can do a pre-estimate so you know the cost up front.Good luck!

***Scotland Only***
An extraction on the NHS is £10.76
One NHS x-ray costs £4.12
If you are not registered with a dentist, or visit a dentist who will only treat you under private arrangements, then there is no set cost. I would imagine, depending on where you live, that between £40 and £100 would be reasonable.
These figures assume the extraction is a 'simple' one, without the need for surgery.
Hope this helps.

It around $300.00 to have tooth taken out. x-rays are $50.00 and up! If you dont have insurance this site below can save you up to 80% on dental work. It also gives you free Prescription, Free Vision and Free Chiropractic care for $11.95 a month. I would check it out so you dont have to pay the full amount for your dental work.
Good luck with it. Dental problems are never any fun

You still have natural tooth there so infection can still occur. Endodontist retreats will vary. It depends where you live and if you have insurance. In houston, without insurance a molar retreat will cost about $1000.
