Lolita was book written by Valdamir Nabokov (I think thats how u spell it). About a 40 year old man who falls in love and seduces a 12 year old girl. They end up having a sexual relationship which spans about 4-5 years.
Usually when someone is called a Lolita it refers to a young girl who is sexually attractive to a much older man (or woman.. u never know in this day and age?). And also connotes that that girl is also interested in that person.
Although the novel was about a white American girl, the Spanish sounding name was given as an exotic nickname to the girl in the novel by her seducer.
Yeah.. so the name usually has sexual connotations and also incestual connotations because the man in also meant to be Lolita's father .. although they are not blood related.

Yes, Lolita comes from Lola, which is a Spanish name.
The famous US writer Vladimir Nabokov wrote a book titled Lolita and ever since a "Lolita" is synonymous with a precocious young girl, that is seductive, but is not aware of it herself.

It comes from a Russian novel that was made into several different movies over the years. The one I know of is Stanley Kubrick's version. Lolita was a sexy young girl, about 14 I think, who was sought after in a romantic relationship by an older, about 30 years older than her, tenant of her mother. She ends up in a relationship with him, and leaves him for another older man, and eventually gets married to someone her own age.
But it is used to refer to a very, flirtatious girl who is underage of consent, but is desired by older men.

The reference is to the novel by the same name written by Vladimir Nabokov. It was later filmatised.
The term is used about an underage, but sexually very attractive girl.
