It was beautiful! My mother bought it for me. I tried on so many even though I had a picture of the one I wanted. I saw the one that was in my picture on the hanger. I wasn't impressed. I tried it on, though, since I like it in the picture. It was perfect! My mother started to cry and I knew it was the one! It was a light cream color with a champagne border along the bottom. It was a full bottom. It was long sleeved. The bodice was beautifully designed with small pearls. I remember it like it was yesterday and I've been married almost 10 years!

i not only remember it I still have it ... HOWEVER i'd be lying if i said it would still fit me....
My dress was not a traditional dress as we had lived together for several years before getting married ... it was a ( oooh hard to describe ) champagne/peachy/pale/cream kind of colour .. it had a hankerchief hem. It was a 1920's style kind of dress..
sort of like the dress on the right of this picture( even the colour isn't unlike it... ) but without the large orange sash. I did have a sash but it matched the colour of the dress itself .. it also had a lace over top.. ( hard to describe)
EDIT (oops it helps IF you include the link you ask people to look at ):

I sure do remember it. My 24th anniversary will be on Monday. It was a second wedding for me. the dress was knee length, cream lace, high Victorian neckline, and sleeves to the elbow. Bit different to the lst one. , that was traditional white lace, but come to think of it had roughly the same neckline.(never realised that till now)!!oh, and it had a 'train' of course. (back then most of em did)!!

Of course!
Because he was a widower, and I was divorced, we had a civil ceremony; the judge was one of my husband's oldest friends, and we held the ceremony in the restaurant where we immediately hosted a lavish dinner for everyone we knew!
I wore a fitted sand colored suit with a floor length pencil skirt (with a deep back vent), and (I couldn't stop myself!) a Victorian styled picture hat topped with silk roses and white ostrich plumes.

Of course! And better yet...my husband remembers it too! It was Chantilly Lace, with a gored front, and Layered Tiers of Lace in Back, trimmed in Pink and small Pearl Beads that I added myself.......We have been married almost 28 years, and my husband says I was Beautiful.........I think I'm very lucky......

I have only been married seven months, but I will always remember my dress. It was beautiful, I felt beautiful in it. You know when its "the" dress and you will always love it.
Have a look...

Yep... I still have it and it still fits me (after 5 years of marriage). A friend's mom made it for me (after a little pressure from my side), and I will never forget what she has done for me!
