i actually do no longer understand how a man or woman can say that in case you do not have faith in the trinity (invented on the council of Nicea in 325 A.D.) which you're no longer a christian. Juses became no longer a trinitarian, it became not at all coined until eventually 3 hundred years After Jesus (supply or take some years) time. it incredibly is a man made doctrine and opposite to the full new and previous testomony. Now, to the question handy. Mormons have their "very own" bible that they think of is more desirable to the Bible. that's what makes them "no longer christian". a minimum of Islam admits a difference. their very own e book, their very own chief, and the two take the diety of Jesus and slam him. A Christian is somebody who's pointed out with Christ in demise, burial and resurection. To the element. A Follower of christ and confesses that he's LORD , that's comparable to GOD. look up this scripture Genesis 27:20 KJV who's the Lord? Genesis 27:20 KJVA Exodus 8:10 NAS there are a number of verses that say the Lord is God. Mormons and J.W.'s deny this, purely as islam does

in todays world there is So Much hatred. but the hatred of man is not proof that there is no God, more correctly it shows the Proof that there is Evil and people choose to follow evil, it does have a connection with what jesus said about LOVE, but then peter said that EVEN satan worshippers have love.
so if you're looking for love, remember you can find it in the darkest Evil as well as in the Congregations of the just. However, YOU might not find any congregations at all of the righteous.
it is true that WE are commanded to forgive others, it is also true if we do not forgive, that the greater sin is within those that do not forgive. Yet jesus also said to: judge Righteously.
Being Gay is just as wrong as being a fornicator. God would hope that all of us choose wisely and choose the greater portions of life by choosing NOT to Sin. For those that choose the better part of life by being obedient and faithful, they are promised a more fulfilling life. Those that refuse to keep the commandments Ruin their life and the others around them. For those that will not repent, there is an absence of the spirit of God.
Forgiveness is given to us all, but without repentance, such forgiveness is meaningless, it is just an empty vase with a hole in it.
hating someone that is gay for just being gay is NOT what people practice. hating the sin of abomination is what people practice, and when a gay person is completely Militant about his gay pride, than hating the person becomes justified. People hate hatred and pride.

Don't judge the Bible or God by peopel who follow them wrongly. Are you saying though that gays need compassion and forgiveness? Christ sure didn't judge anyone, how can we? I think though that we Chrstians need to take a stand for what we believe in. We just need to make sure that righteous anger doesn't turn into hating people whether gays, criminals, pedafiles, muslims, communitsts, or whatever.

I can understand your point. Try not to let some people's prejudice view spoil your relationship with Jesus. People get so caught up in others people's sin they forget their own. Jesus teaches us that a sin is a sin no matter whether it be big or small. Yes it is a sin to have intercourse with someone of the same sex but gluttony is also a sin and you don't see people being tossed out of church because they are overweight. Remember we are to hate the sin but not the sinner, Try to be patient with others and concentrate on your own walk with the Lord. May God bless you.

Christians aren't perfect, though it may seem that some think they are! It is easier to condemn someone else's sin than to take note of one's own. You're perfectly right: Christians ought not to hate; we ought to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is sad that we Christians often fall so short of the mark in this regard. Pray for Christians, that we understand what following Christ really is: Not condemnation, but LOVE. Don't let the irresponsible attitudes or ignorance of some Christians get in the way of your own walk with Christ.
God bless.

Try to grasp this concept:
"Sin isn't bad because it's forbidden, sin is forbidden because it's bad."
Do you get it? What the Bible calls sin are things that will HURT you, either in the short or the long run. Every time, every sin listed is named as such because it has harmful, negative consequences.
Now test this theory - murder, rape, sex outside of marriage (think of all the diseases and unwanted pregnancies), and lastly, homosexuality.
I'm going to get a million "thumbs down" for this, but if you have an open mind and an open heart, listen to me. Go onto the Altanta's centers for Disease Control website and look up the statistics on homosexual death in the USA.
AIDS, rectal cancer, suicide, alcoholism and domestic violence are in the top 5. They are dying, right before our eyes, and they are dying as a direct result of the sin of homosexuality (rectal cancer can not be attributed to anything other than sodomy).
Don't you care? Isn't it important that people are dying from their behavior? As a loving and caring Christian, don't you want to tell them that they are killing themselves?
What is love? If you love your child, would you let them play in the street? We should be known for our LOVE, and it is love that motivates to reach out, with a caring and compassionate voice to the homosexual population.
Anyone who advocates violence against homosexuals is NOT reading their Bible and is DEAD wrong.

Christians aren't the only ones. I think when people feel threatened they sometimes lash out. I may feel homosexuality is wrong, but so is greed, gluttony, pride, selfishness, ect, ect, ect. Anyone who comdemns gays should also be looking in the mirror because there is a right way & a wrong way to confront people about their sins, (a sin is a sin, no big or small) confronting someone wrongly in my opinion, is just as bad as homosexuality. Who are we to judge, but on the other hand I'm not saying homosexuality is OK.

It is a sin to be a practicing homosexual,it is not a sin to be a celibate homosexual, a rather obscure theological fact in the Catholic church and is the reasoning that allows homosexual men to become priests but as heterosexual men they are required to be celibate,so you can see the Catholic catechism (teachings) accepts you the problem is individual Christians that do not follow the teachings of Christ they sin in many ways, Catholics are supposed to treat homosexuals with love and compassion, please do not give up on Christianity! peace be with you.

Because God hates it. He clearly says it in the Bible. He calls them sodomites. Why can't gays just get with the program and understand that God says it is sin and face the fact that if they continue that lifestyle, they will have a place in the lake of brimstone and fire. Sorry if the truth hurts.
It is not the people that are hated, as real born again Christians don't hate people. It is the gay part that is not liked or tolerated
Here is a website about it.

A true Christian does not hate gays, but also does not accept the argument that it is not sin. A Christian loves all people, but believes God in matters of the heart. God has said it is wrong, that it is against the very nature of mankind, but it seems that every person has his or her "thing" that is against God, for in the book of Romans it says "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". So everyone of us has to let go of something to get on the pathway to salvation... some more some less. There are heterosexual people who live in adultry, and sex outside mariage who are just as wrong as the homosexual, and God loves them too. Just like murderers, liars, thieves etc... and these are all people Jesus died for so that they could be set free from their sin, BUT, He leaves the decision up to them, warning them that they are on the pathway to destruction unless they repent of whatever wrong they are commiting and turn to Him... He is the gentle loving Shepherd, but for some reason he will not force us to believe in Him or force us to choose heaven; He leaves it up to us to make the decision.
