Fresh strawberries are always best, because they are more healthful. Trim off the tops and add to the top of your oatmeal. If fresh is not available to you, depending on the season, use defrosted frozen strawberries. The extra juice you get from them is nice, and they are flavorful. They are the best picked, the sweetest. Do not use canned. They are over-cooked, mushy, and just plain gross, because they have more additives to them, things you don't want in a healthy diet. FRESH, everytime you can. Blueberries, and raisins are also great. Try some fresh sliced bananas, and almonds too. Yum!

Raw of course. But during winter days, frozen may be the only choice. n

fresh would be what I prefer but frozen would mix well with your oats and canned would be sweet so you shouldn't have to add sugar - try blueberries too YUM
