Now I understand why that you cannot believe everything you read on the Internet! Everybody and his dog is an expert doling out wildly inaccurate garbage! spiritcardreadings and mzfatbooty65 should be ashamed of themselves. If you don't know better, shut up! An 8-ounce cup of homemade cocoa contains 5 milligrams of caffeine, according to the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. Public health officials from Australia report hot chocolate caffeine content can range from 10 to 70 milligrams per cup. Clearly there is variation in the caffeine content of hot chocolate as well as with coffee.

Yes, i can't have caffeine so the Doctor told me that chocolate has caffeine and the darker the chocolate the more caffeine.
I miss my Snickers bars. They were the world's best candy for me and I have had candy from all over the world.
I was told the German chocolate (marsipan ..sp?) was supposed to be the best but give me an old fashion Snickers anytime.
Yes, its snickers that i love the best..but that is just me i guess.

Yes, chocolate does have caffeine in it. It depends on what type of chocolate and how much you are eating. You can probably find it on the label.

The psychotropic substance in chocolate is called "theobromine" which is Greek and means "food of the gods". It's chemically related to caffeine, and to my information -no guarantee for correctness - about 100g of dark chocolate would give you the equivalent of one cup of strong coffee.
