No religion preaches killing .
Riots occur when two groups Vilently clash with each other.
Religion is only one of the many methods to divide people into groups
When fighting between two groups take place, they can easily spread across leading to riots and killings Just because of the herd behaviour of groups. Attribute religion to them and you have communal riots.
Similarly riots are based on colour, race, country, or any divides that is enough to form two opposing groups,
you need to label these Riots , to exploit the situation - communal is one such label

no.no religion preaches killings of innocent people.some people just need a reason to fight.communal riots happen only in the name of religion.in reality some people kill the inncoent people for their own political profits and throw all the blame on religion.

1st it was there bcz of seeds sown by britishers of 'divide n rule'
by partitioing bengal n pakistan on basis of community
