no atma satma exists.it is all our superstitions.a body is a machine in itself.there is a lot of similarity between a body and a machine.only the difference is that we have feelings and emotions because of the hormones present in our body , we are made up of muscles and bones instead of metal and plastic and nature has made us while machines are man-made.our body does it's job and dies when it's warranty is complete or because of any accident.
our life is a cycle of periods from which all of us have to go.after the completion of all this periods our life span comes to an end and we die.sometimes people die because of some accident and are thus not able to complete all this periods and their task for which they were born.while some don't want to continue their life and suicide.
after death there is nothing left for us.the world will continue to work like it is working today even after our death.but yes even after our death our succeeds(children or grandchildren) will exist to prove that we once walked on earth.just like we are the living proofs of our ancestors that they once walked on earth.

Life is one part of life-death cycle. Atma, after death of one body takes birth in another body. This cycle continues till Atma is freed from this cycle and become one with Parmatma from Whom it separated.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

All things exist perfectly in the creation of the One True God according to His laws. Minerals, vegetables, animals, humans are themselves as such from eternity to eternity and evolve in their own realms.
As for humans, they are endowed with the rational sense to consciously and responsibly observe the laws of God to deserve their noble station. After the decomposition of our bodies, which return to dust, our souls soar up to the spiritual world and continue to live according to the mercy of God and to His judgement for our efforts on earth.
All these things have been taught in the Holy Books of the Messengers of God.

Our body is a cage in which we are trapped until we fulfill the duties given to us by God. If you do not fulfill it in this life, you will be trapped once again in another life to fulfill this duty. Once you fulfill your duty, you will go to God and stay with Him. You will finally be freed of the cage that is your body, and your soul will rest with God.
That is the Hindu belief.
