I really don't know what else to do. I am in love with my guy friend and i know he has feelings for me. We've been out before as friends but now whenever i say about going anywhere he always makes excuses. He dosn't have much money but i have even offered to pay but he won't have it. Even things that don't cost money he don't wanna do. When we are together he is so happy, he jokes about, can't do enough for me and has even started kinda flirting with me. But i have known him for 7 1/2 months now and we've not got anywhere. I think his pride is starting to take over, he knows he don't have much, maybe he don't wanna burden me but he wouldn't. I even offered him my old mobile cos his is broke but he wouldn't take it, said he'd buy another one. Is this worth sticking with or should i just give up? I am getting so confused, does he want me or don't he? He's 24 and i'm 27. I know he's had a lot of probs, family and money and stuff, but he's trying to get back on his feet now, should i wait?

I think its up to you to decide if you want to wait or not. Mabe he is holding back bc he is trying to get back on his feet and feels that if he is with someone it might make it harder and take him longer.. give him some space, give him some time but dont waste you life waiting in the wings.. go out have some fun with other friends.. he will be ready one day, but if you push to hard he may fall again and take him even longer to get back up.. Be his friend, but try not to be his gf right now, if he sees thats what your trying to do, it might make it easier for him to get his life together... and mabe hes not taking things from you bc he has too much pride.. just relax and let him do what hes got to do, he will come around and if his feelings for you are what yours are for him.. he will let you know..

yeah you should wait for the time that he is now ready to face problems but i think you can help him bout what he is facing right now
