325 CE: The period of time from 325 to about 590 CE is often referred to as the "post-Nicene" era. This interval takes its name from the church Council of Nicea which was held in 325 CE.
There was no single individual who spoke for the entire church; no one person had the authority to decide matters of belief and practice. Such matters could only be determined by councils at which all available bishops would debate and attempt to resolve their differences. The first such meeting was the Council of Nicea in Asia Minor (now Turkey). 318 bishops out of the approximately 1,800 Christian bishops then in existence attended. Most came from the eastern half of the Empire. 5 Bishops attempted to resolve a major uncertainty facing the early church: the relationship between Jesus and God. The church recognized the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) which described God in strictly monotheistic terms. But there were references in the Gospels (particularly John) which implied that Jesus was divine. Two conflicting theories about the deity of Jesus were argued at the time: Arius (250 - 336 CE) proposed that Jesus and God were very separate and different entities: Jesus was closer to God than any other human being, but he was born a man, had no prior existence, and was not a god. On the other hand, God has been in existence forever. Arius felt that any attempt to recognize the deity of Christ would blur the lines between Christianity and the Pagan religions. If Christianity recognized two separate gods, the Father and Jesus, it would become a polytheistic religion.
Athanasius (296 - 373 CE) argued that Jesus must be divine, because otherwise, he could not be the Savior. The atonement would not have been possible.

WRONG!!!!!!!!! the old testament spoke of god in the plural!!!!! if you've ever read it you would see many times when god says we and us, for example

genesis 2:22 -then the lord god said "Behold, the man has become like one of US, to know good and evil. and now lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever"

and if you want more prof that the bible is demonic just read for yourself numbers 31:18 and then tell me what was supposed to happen to the little girls whose mothers had just been murdered.

Yes, this was a crucial time of the beginning what we know as Christianity as it was also the time when they decided what books would also go into the New Testament. Some gospels were omitted and the gospel of Mark was expanded.
What we basically know of with this council is that they decided to use the writings of Paul - even though he was not one of the apostles, basically because it supported the Church's male dominated view.
This period also lead into discussions about the Holy Spirit's involvement, which developed into the ideas of the Trinity of God - which in someways mimics the pagan belief of maiden, mother and crone (tying into Arius' view of Christ's deity).
Have you ever read James the Brother of Jesus? It gets into all of this.

My opinion is that the Council of Nicea was right when they decided their interpretation of the nature of Christ.
You will always have bad interpretations of the Bible, because we are sinners. They came together as a group, looked at the evidence they had and made a decision based upon scripture.

If you're not willing to read his question, then why are you willing to answer it? Oh wait, yeah, I forgot, the two points that don't mean anything, right...

Jesus is Gods divine son,

This is my own so it could be complete nonsense but i think that it was very important because God the Father, creator of the earth had a covenent with the jewish people,
The covenent went back to Abraham when God asked Abraham to sacrafice his son, only to reprieve at the last moment.

This is why i think that the ball isnt nessesarily with the jews anymore,
When God sacraficed his Son for mankind the jews instead of a reprieve decide to prosecute Gods Son
Thus fulfilling Our Lord Jesus' prophesy that he would tear down and rebuild the temple in 3 days.

Found this on one of the links posted above...

n John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am"—invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God—"I Am" (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood exactly what he was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple" (John 8:59).

God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit

It's all lies. This "Asia Minor" and "Turkey" are merely fabrications of Satan made to test our faith. Jesus created America in 1958, and everything else is a lie. Don't believe these secular Satanic evolutionist liberal democrat Darwin-worshippers when they try to tell you otherwise!

In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful...

if u don mind, let me put up a chapter from Quran ,about the qualities or how a god should be....

Say: He is Allah, the One and Only
now check whether ur GOD is one and only god...

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
he should be everlasting... in the sense he should not fade like a fog or die.... and absolute ,pure....

He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
he should not have kids or parents.... he should be unique....

And there is none like unto Him
and there should not be any comparison to him.

from these you yourself ,differentiate who is god... i accept Jesus is the saviour.. but that doesnt mean he is the GOD.. nor his father is GOD.. because a GOD cannot have kids...

this is my opinion.. and im not saying this is how it is.. i hope u do take my answer in the right way...

All the good is from Allah, and all the bad from me...

Matthew 23:8 christ says 'do not call any one father, for you have one father, even christ." somewords have been deleted in the newer version bible but I think it was made pretty clear that christ confessed that even he served God.
Secondly Remember that God said to Elijah, that he ( Elijah ) would be God among men.
Christ was made king of Earth because of the purpose God had for him. They are one in spirit because God lives in the heart of christ and through Christ God lived upon the earth, Because Christ spoke as God with the given authority of God.
But Admittedly, Christ himself claims that he came to do the work of his father, which clearly states that he serves God by his actions. Furhter more when he was called Good, he responded that " none is Good save the father " Again testifying through his word that God is God, And he worshipped God.
And again he testified to God's glory that the only thing for which you will not be forgiven is to take the name of the Lord in vain, Remebering that in that same paragraph he also says " If you curse the son of man you can be forgiven, But if you should take the name of the lord in vain then you will not be forgiven. "
I think throughout the bible,. Christ made it plain that even he served God, By these things alone there should never have been any discusion among any who rose to the pulpit because these are men that should have read and understood.
Christ if a God was made God becauseYahwah God says he is. And not because he was born God, God lived within him, teaching him, admonishing him, and preparing him.
But overall, if the bible is read and understood, everyone can see as plain as day that christ never once claimed that he was God, but rather claimed Messiah, who was sent by God to save man, as was foretold by the prophets. Whatever other name was given to him was given by God.
This is what I take from the Bible. One love man.
