Depends on what kind of parents they were then you could say they are embarrassing... but if you have good parents and the only mistakes they have was no ime for you then why feel that way... they might be busy in some ways...

Maybe that's a sign of the generational differences. Most people find some, if not, most of the things their parents do embarrassing.

I must be one of the most embarrassing mothers around. A few years ago we were doing Gorge-swinging in SA. The chap in charge were good-looking and hunky. My daughter said he was cute. I asked her if she wanted to know if he was married and she said no. Took me 5 minutes to find out all about him.

Because that's what they do... dad dances, mum wiping your face with her own spit.... there is a parent school that teaches you to embarrass your children... its called life!
BUT you'll miss those embarrassing things when they're gone...

They are not... Its just you... If we are talking about cool parents who still party and make out etc... It means they life each other and life and Ill bet most other people think they are cool.
It also means they will wnat you to be happy and help you get somone you love.
Beats strict parents who wont let you go out and are mean who live in lalla land and think you are a kid

It is in our job description ! It we don't embarrass our children several times a day we go to jail we go directly to jail we do not pass GO and we don't collect £200! lolol

what you feel is normal! i feel also like that when i was young. but now that I'm grown up, i do understand things like that. you only saw your own view point! you didn't see there's! parents wants the best for there child. and that is true. they didn't want you to suffer from bugs!!! maybe that is their one way of showing you that they love you!
