I knew about jesus's bloodline and the templars long before the davinci code. but writing it as a book of fiction was a good idea.

what? Jesus bloodline was mentioned in the Bible however he was born of a virgin. it was not a literal thing. just like when people today adopt a child they claim that child as theres. specially if they cant have kids. and claim the child cont. on with there bloodline and carrying there name. the davinci code was fiction and even proven as well as the arthor himself said it was only fiction. i can care less though. i was not there. if it was important then the Bible would have said so. even if Jesus did get married then technically it is still not a sin. however i dont believe in it at all for it is proven false and why would God need to have a wife or child on earth when he created us all anyways. but if people want to believe it that is there thing as well.

I believe the DaVinci code because in the bible; Jesus was called Rabbi many times. According to Jewish law; Rabbis had to be married, and the family of good reputation.

Some people are not prepared to hear some things. The fiction sounds better than a true event, a lie is sometimes better then the truth.

I agree--fiction is a beautiful way to put forth theories that can't actually be proven. Those who want to believe can do more research and learn if any facts support the theories. Those who don't want to believe them can (rightly) dismiss them as fiction. It's a win/win.

it's a yes and a no. Yes because it has opened the mind of other Christians that Jesus have a bloodline. No because Christian might have some different views about Jesus
