What a lots of silly people on here. I agree with 'Budding Author' . You silly ill-informed people. Faggots were faggots in the South of England long before the word was made to be an insult to homosexuals just a the word gay was given a capital letter and used in place of the nasty words that were thrown homosexual s. Anyway going back to Savoury Ducks and Faggots..... I have always thought them different. Savoury Ducks are a light-ish colour with a membrane type wrapping and are usually (or used to be) sold in a dry form. Faggots on the other hand are more like a meatball but bigger and much more moist.

Savoury duck, or faggots as they are called in the north of England can be eaten hot or cold, once they have been cooked. I prefer them hot with mashed potato and peas and served with a rich gravy. Sometimes the savoury duck comes with gravy, which is always beautiful and rich.

'Savoury Ducks' are what the Northern England people call faggots. I don't know why they are called savoury ducks. They are meat balls quite spicy and lovely with mushy peas.
You can find out more below.
JHMHSI says she has reported you. She doesn't know what she is talking about. She is obviously very ignorant.
