You can't make it grow faster. You can take B complex vitamins or gelatin to help keep it healthy, but, it won't grow faster. Play with it a little bit, you may find a style that you can live with until it grows out to something that you like a little more. Plus, keep in mind, it is growing all the time, so your problem is getting better every day :)

I just want to add, in response to someone else's answer. It is a common misconception that having your hair trimmed will make it grow. That is NOT true. It doesn't grow any differently if you have it cut. It just makes it easier to grow long if it is healthy, so the ends don't fray and break off.

Hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month (although this varies somewhat from person to person). It will grow more slowly if you are deprived of nutrients, but assuming you're already getting enough food, there isn't anything you can do to make it grow faster.

There are a lot of new age cures and home techniques floating around, but these are just myths and do not stand up to controlled testing, so I would suggest you not waste your time with them.

If you want your hair longer, you just have to wait for it to grow.

Here's an article about the science of hair, in case it helps:

Nothing can make it grow faster, as normal hair growth is one half an inch a month, unless you are lucky enough to have the abnormal hair growth that Crystal Gayle has.

Hot oil massages every alternative day stimulates the scalp. Shampoo afterwards with a mild shampoo. Vitamin E and C intake helps as well. Avoid unhealthy food and stock up on greens and protein.

The speed of hair growth is about 1.25 cm or 0.5 inches per month. What you eat will determine whether or not you get healthy new hair growth.
