Is there a way to extend the memory on a laptop?

Instead of putting everything that is one my laptop onto memory sticks, because that can be annoying, is there/are there ways that I can extend the memory? Looking for sensible answers please, meaning not just ''yes''.

1) save stuff on CDs and DVDs
2) get a USB pen drive
3) get an external harddrive
4) save some stuff in cyberspace

If you mean the RAM, then yes if you have VISTA

There is a new type of memory stick that when used with VISTA extends the ram.

If you mean more hard disk space, then either an external hard disk or you might want to consider backing up old files to CD or DVD

I had the same problem, I thought about it and read a computer magazine, I realised that I wanted an external hard disk which runs through a USB port, so I have one on the shelf by myh desk.

Yes, it is possible to upgrade your memory and hard drive, if you look at backside of your laptop. there is to different places in order to your laptop model you have to check with reference manual or laptop manufacturer website.

get a portable hard drive or upgrade. In the mean defragment your pc to get more space and you can always delete some unwanted stuff, to make space.

buy a bigger hard drive and have the store or someone you know install it, pretty simple thing to do. Or buy an external hard drive and use that
