It is illogical and unreasonable to worship a book. The bible is God's word written in human words. What we read, we need to reflect and understand what it means to us. A mistake is to take is as a manual guidance for life. Problems and some issues in today's world were not the same in the past and the bible does not have direct answers to solve them. What we do is to reflect and analyse and do things out of love and you will be able to know what is wrong and what is right if you have a formed conscious.

Right, we worship God and use the Bible as the guidebook for our faith. The Holy Spirit wont lead you in any different directions than the Bible, b/c both are from God.

Yes, it's wrong to worship the Bible.
However, in the debate between listen to your heart and listen to the word of God, I'd chose the Bible everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
We are flawed human beings and our hearts are wicked. Many a pastor has lead his flock down dangerous and blasphemous paths because he chose to listen to heart rather than to read the word of God.
That is the why the Bible tells us to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together. It is in fellowship, the "steel sharpening steel" where ideas and interpretations can be checked and debated. It is important to have a place where you can go to discuss your Biblical interpretations and to know that the men around you have only good intentions toward you.

People are allowed to worship what they like - you should not say its 'wrong' for someone to worship something merely because you don't agree with it.

Every word in there is true. God just wrote it in a mysterious way, so that we would need priests to interpret it for us. God's like that.
I know a few American gentlemen who think that the bible also foretells the future! .....scary.....
