You'll have to state which country you are referring to. If you are referring to USA, it is, by definition, already a developed nation.

Nation means "people".
Its all in the hands of people who can make a nation a developed country or any other kind.
I feel people need to follow "Win-Win" policy.
Some of the factors that differentiate between
a "developed" country and a "developing" country are:
Illiteracy
Corruption
Politics
Reservations in education, jobs and etc
and last but not the least
"Narrow mindedness" of people.
I again mention "Nation means People".

Our Country is already a developed nation.
The only fact that is making t look like not developed nation is people in remote vilages are not getting educated or not knowing how to develop themselves to a better stage, and not getting support from the government for their better living.And not getting enough knowledge that is happening in the out side world. once these are solved we will be at better stage than what we are now

We as a Indian with strong inner feelings in the heart to develop our nation by hard working to public, Pay the tax properly to Govt., Identify corrupted person in the power and eliminate the person during voting and be proved as Indian.

Removing corrupt politicians, better educational system, more concentration on the problems of the common people, clearing people's mind from superstitions, development of villages, more job opportunities etc. can help to a great extent .
No country is great , it is made one.

very simple,while doing ur any work just remember the face of poorest men u have ever seen and than start working,u will automatically do the work very honestly.this is sufficient to make our country a developed nation.

We must stop brain drain from our country to the USA and Europe.
Universities must change their syllabi to teach the advancements
and technical developments.
The government must encourage young graduates to be become enterpneurs/industrialists by giving them right things at right time.
The budding industrialists/enterpneurs should have courgae to compete with big business houses by innovating new ideas.

"Our" country? Which country are you speaking about? Technologically, economically the US is considered developed. However, socially it is still developing. Re: death penelty, sky high crime rate, use of guns, racism, lack of health care etc.
