not being a doctor, i have no idea. my guess would be probably not, but you never know, and you should probably check with your doctor just to be sure. they may not be connected but both are pretty treatable.

GET a massage done to relieve the numbness. Ckeck ur diet. It appears u are having a stress, and u r taking a lot of medicines.

Make sure u add a Vitamin-B or B-Comples in ur diet, natural or medical. u Drink a glass of warm milk before sleeping, if possible add turmeric powder and sugar (Boil a glass of milk add a pinch of turmeric powder and sugar)

In the corner of your house choose an ideal spot on the floor.
take a wollen (or any other) blanket and fold it to 2ft x 2 ft. Sit on the floor facing the East. Do deep breathing slowly intake from one nostrils and exhale from the other slowly, take as deep as possible without exherting any pressure, do this for 15-20 minutes this will give relief. THIS SHOULD BE DONE BEFORE SUNRISE AROUND 6AM.

It is connected, it is ur body, my dear, because of the medicne u have been taking.

Hiya,
The only connection it could be would be diabetes, prolonged high sugar levels in the blood, damages the nerve which goes to your little finger and the one next to it, it will feel like burning pins and needles and will often feel numb, or cold, the same things happen in your feet and usually happens in your feet first, but not always, 90% of diabetics have excess acid in the stomachs, due to poor digestion and this often produces acid in the throat.
A simple bood sugar level should tell you if this is what you are suffering from, it can be helped with diet and oral medication well before you have to inject insulin, so seek advise as soon as possible to prevent more damage. hope this is of help..

I doubt they are related. you may be getting heartburn because you are worried about your finger. You finger could be numb for a lot of different reasons. carpal tunnel syndrome can have a numbing affect on fingers. Repetitive movement can cause this. It could be coming from a pinched nerve. Make an apt with your doctor.

if you havent injured it then it could be a progressing paralysis and something's causing the paralysis. it could be on your brain or on the nerves on your hand. it could also be a blood clot somewhere in your hand or near your hand. heartburn is caused by excessive stomach acid. probably not connected. you need to get both checked out by a doc especially the finger while it's early.

No I wouldn't have thought the two were connected at all. Heartburn..what are you eating? Get the DR to check that out....and as a thought when on the computer do you lean on your elbow?

My fingers went numb for 3 weeks once after I got them extremely cold...a mild form of frostbite...don't suppose that could be it.....?

(Leprosy?...just kidding)

GO SEE A DOCTOR!*

*The average income of a Uk GP is £108,000...so why not make them earn it?!. (when you go, please ask them if they earn £108,000 a year or more. Everyone thinks doctors are "good people" but boy are they well paid good people! (what I have to do to earn £20,000! -national average by the way is £25,000....ok maybe I am getting off the point here)

maybe you have a carpal disorder [ however they wld refer it to] . this is commonly experienced those who use most of their time on the computer, using the mouse and the positioning of the wrist can trigger numbness or pain on those areas. for hurtburn it's another thing. check your doctor if it something else.
