I believe it would be a NICER world but there would not be world peace. I don't believe there will be world peace until Jesus returns to earth one day. Christians are not saints, despite what some might believe. We have all sinned and still do, that's what forgiveness is for...when we mess up. Even if the whole world were Christians, we would be fighting each other over doctrine. Like do you baptize by sprinkling or total emersion in water, and like, is charismatics really Christians because they speak with other tongues? And the biggy, does God still heal people today? See what I mean. I don't believe we're even meant to have world peace until the time comes, that has been ordained for it, but that by no means releases us from our responsibility to work hard to make peace with our families ,our neighbors, people we work with. That's where we start Most of us can't fly to every country and make speeches and try to show all these people that we're not that bad and that we like them and want to be friends. IT ALL STARTS AT HOME, my friend.

No, I do not - only Christ will bring world peace. There are other religions in the world that believe everyone should belong to their religion and then there would be Heaven on earth. And there are Christian denominations that believe they are the only correct ones. So, which Christian denomination would you choose?

No, I have been treated pretty rotten by quite a few Christians and I have made comments on here where I state I am a Christian yet state a few open minded comments and other Christians will thumbs down me for things such as saying drinking alcohol is not a sin. Some Christians don't know how to respect others.

yes i believe there would be world peace if everybody here on earth lives by the principles and beattitudes of being a Christian. which is sum up with the 2 commands of love, to love God above all, and to love thy neighbor as thyself. if everyone will abide by that law, then there would be no problem. earth would be heaven.

but if these persons claiming to be Christians, remain Christians by name and not by works and deeds...then we'll still have a chaotic world.

People always find something to fight about.

If there was not conflict between religions, there would conflict within the one religion. Remember, Christianity is divided into countless sects with divergent world views.

Secondly, religion is not the only source of conflict in the world. Having only one religion would not, for example, eliminate economic reasons for conflict and the competition for scarce resources.

It sure didn't work for Europe, when the Protestants and Christians were massacring each other. And yet in the Netherlands, well known for its religious diversity, there's a great deal of peace.

Not a chance. How may wars throughout history have been fought over Christianity? How many thousands of people were killed in the name of Christianity?

A personal relationship with J.C. is great, but religion be damned.

Hell no! Ever heard of a little thing called the Dark Ages? That's when Christianity was at it's peak in world domination. I for one do not want to see the world go though that again.

And to those who think there will be a day when everyone is Christian: I will NEVER bow down to your God. You will have to murder me.
