If you have to ask a bunch of random strangers on Yahoo, then chances are you aren't ready.

It's an honest question, but you have to answer truthfully. If you don't want to do it, then don't. Say no, and he'll back off. Never let anyone pressure you into sex. It shows that they care more about their desires than yours. This types of people are selfish and never make good lovers.

But you didn't say that you two were in any kind of serious relationship. If that's true, don't expect Eric to stick around after wards. This is casual sex, and casual sex usually isn't a good idea and rarely leads to a deep, long-lasting relationship. But if that's all you're looking for too, go ahead and be safe by making sure you have a contraceptive device ready.

Remember, no matter what I or everyone else on this forum say, only you know if you're ready.

Just because you've known someone a long time doesn't mean you're ready to have sex with them, or even be intimate with them in any way. It doesn't appear as though you two are even in a relationship. Do you really wanna be the kind of girl who just has sex cause a guy you know pretty well asks if you wanna do it? If you think you're ready for this big move, go for it, but it's a major step, and has the potential to mess up your relationship. Weigh out the pros and cons. Good luck :)

I don't think it would be a good idea because if he has had sex with other girls and contracted some disease, then you'll get it too. Condoms are good and all, but there's a small percentage that you could contract something.

Remember some STD's require skin contact and not fluid contact.

In sum, don't have sex with this guy. Just because you know him, doesn't validate the reasoning for doing it.

No. No. No. If you are just friends or acquaintances - he would be using you. If he wants to marry you, he should respect you enough to wait. The most precious gift you have to give, is the gift of yourself. Why would you squander or waste that? There is an old saying, "If he can have the milk free, why would he ever want to buy the cow?" No one deserves that special gift of you, except the man who wants to be with you forever as his wife. And he doesn't get the milk until the wedding night! (anything else is disrespectful to you)

are you in a relationship with this boy? do you have feelings for him? are you still a virgin? all these questions and more will help you make up your mind so think carfully about the answers.
you also have to look at this boys charachter and see if he is just going to use you and brag to his mates. most teenage lads are like that they think with there penis and not their brains!
if you feel ready for sex then find someone you want to have a serious relationship with and use protection as you are still to young to be a mother there is plenty of life out there to see first.
so whatever you decide be happy and be safe, mail me if you like to ask more on this subject.

That's kind of straight forward. But I say no. If your not going out with him there's no reason to have sex with him. Sex is supposed to be special not something you just ask out of the blue and do it with no thought about what could happen the next day.

It will change your friendship forever so you should probably talk with him about where things are heading between you to make sure you're on the same page before you do anything drastic like that.

Only if you're in love with him. But if you guys are just friends then thats pretty cheap. You're worth more than that behavior. Save it for the right guy. It'll be so much more special that way.

no, i would absolutely wait. not because of religion, or preference, but because its the smarter thing to do. if you have sex now, you may ruin the emotions that u could have with a latter love

only if you have got feelings for him, don't committ yourself to things that you are not ready for you may come to regret them afterwards, also keep in mind that this may ruin your friendship wit eric, is it realy worth the risk?
