If you are asking what are the main subjects for doing engineering after 12th grade, the important ones are:
1) Mathematics
2) Chemistry
3) Physics
4) Biology (for bioengineering)
Depending on the specialty chosen in engineering school you'll focus on different topics as you go through the curriculum. Any engineering degree gets a healthy dose of mathematics. Expect 4 calculus related courses and maybe another course just on differential equations. Mastering this math is crucial if you want to work in research, but most engineers do not deal with calculus on the job.
