You get the pyramids and sphinx and ancient temples.. and you always have the chance of getting grabbed by Islamic nutjobs and beheaded or blown up.

Egypt has explosions.
France has a tower that looks almost as good as that one in Las Vegas.

Egypt is fanstaic city!!! cairo is full of history and sharm el sheikh has wonderful sea.. and it is the good place for scuba..
Paris is very very nice city!! it is so romantic place.. Hotels aren't so comportable but you don't need to stay at the hotel all day.There are many big shops in Champs- Elysées..
You can find many famous painting in The musee de Louvre.

I'm french and would say that both countries require time to understand their respective beauties.
To US citizens : Please forget Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre, les Champs Elysées, they are fine for sure, but they are nothing compared the beauty of the country side.

have been to france...its beautiful! would not fancy egypt due to attacks on tourists...dont put yourself in danger!
