Yeah i see no point in Valentines day. Why should we only devout one day out of the year to show our love for someone? Why can't we show our love for someone like that everyday?!

Its a corporate scam, highly overrated and very stupid. It is just one of those things that preaches TRUE LOVE and u see couples try to show off that their love is true n all, well ..in fact it is just a society recognised and attested excuse for pple to mate. The singles and feel bad and that was they want.. they want u to get into the scam and be hypocratic.

I say give a middle finger and go on. There should be a bachelors day and during that day, the singles have fun with hookers ( guy n gal ). That way u throw **** at the "truelove" couples who will break up after sex or once they find a better person.

I'm single and I just don't really notice it. Being single means I don't have to spend any money or plan anything. No pressure, no bills. Easier this way.
Would I like to have a GF for Valentine's Day? Sure but I'm the kind of person who doesn't force those things. I tend to look at the brighter side of situations.

I agree i have spent only one valentines day with someone i love, and since then i hate valentines day all the ladys getting roses from they're man and all i can do is sit and watch wishing that i was her. One day tho we will be the ladies getting the roses. And Valentines will become a great holiday for us too.

i am not sure because so far i have always been alone on valentines day but i think that people who have someone to share it with apprieciate it. hopefully someday i will get to appriciate it with someone i love. don't hate it embrace it. spend it with family or helping others. who said you had to be with a lover for valentines day. it is about love. go help at a shelter or soup kitchen or something else ... who knows maybe you will find someone to share it with. i hope this answer helped. if it didn't i am sorry. please pick mine in need points also i want to know that i at least helped one person.

You are right. It just makes single people sad(or people who just broke up).

But you gotta look at the other side also. It makes couples happy...There is always two sides to the story. U have to compromise a little bit.

Ah but it's not all about people you KNOW who love you.....!
How will all your secret admirers know when is a good day to send you cards and roses if you pull up the drawbridge with a huge KEEP OUT sign?

To tell you the truth, Valentines day is pointless to me. It's to make the business's rich, and for couples to empty their pockets for hearts and flowers.

I think that the people who wish this day should die are the people who aren't involved and wouldn't be getting any dates soon.
