Man has the right and responsibility to fend and provide for himself, his own well being. Nothing wrong with working for ones own welfare. But, man is not his own God. Man has a responsibility to God first. God, family, country. A person need not live as though he is the canter of the universe. We all need ti be thankful for what we have and that thanks begins with God.

Matthew 6:8 says "...Father knoweth what things ye have need of..."

This scripture is proof that God himself knows we have needs. I think those needs must be taken care of in stride. I believe we are like a machine. If you oil the machine and change the filters the machine will run great and give great service well beyond the cost of the maintenance. However, if we neglect the machine, it will break and not be of any use to anyone. This is how I view our lives. There are people saying that the key to life is to serve others. That is true, but only in the context of taking care of ourselves also. I know there are many great examples of selflessness in the scriptures and christian history, but people always neglect to point out that other aspect of service.

Matthew 6:33 (New King James Version)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
That is according to my belief in christianity, but i also feel that there is too much focus on what is a sin or not, and not enough focus on the fact that we have salvation. EVERYONE sins, christians included, Jesus said that if you are guilty of one you are guilty of all, but because we have salvation, we shouldn't condemn ouselves, or anyone else.
Romans 5:18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
The "one man" is Adam, and the "one Man" is Jesus

Mark 8:35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s sake will save it.

If you live your life solely for your own sake you will waste it but if you live your life for the sake of others you will multiply it and gain your rewards in heaven. Jesus will say to you, "Well done good and faithful servant!"

i dont believe we do. however we are given free will to do as we want. i believe we are here to serve God and live for him on this earth untell we can be with him forever. and let everyone know about the Word of God. and witness and not be ashamed. this is how i feel.

others feel they can do what they want because they dont believe at all.

we can do what we want. i think if you want to believe in God and that is your choice as it is mine then we should beable to. just as well as those who dont want too.

i am glad so many hate christians for the Bible says

Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

and this is so true. therefore i am thankfull to atheist or any one else who hates me because i am christian and who does stuff to me or says stuff about me because i am christian

Joh 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

for those 2 scritures say they will hate me as well as do all things unto me if you actually read the whole scripture it says they will persecute us in his name's sake.

all those who hate us do is prove the Bible to be more true. so i dont say nothing bad about those people at all. for i love them just as the Bible says and i understand what they do because they Bible tells me they will do those thing.

selfishness is a sin and I think the one sin we are born with. a man may live as he likes if he does not harm others but he will only get to heaven if he knows Jesus.
