Well, the Christians WERE a cult a long time ago. In fact, by the definition of a cult (which I suggest you look up), they are still a cult.
A cult isn't a bad thing. It can be just another name for a religious sect or organization, or a group of people who all believe in the same thing.
I don't see the point of posting such nonsense questions.

A cult can be a good or bad thing. It can mean a false religion or just a group of people following a religion, not necessarily false. It may have been considered a cult at one time to those who feared it.

disturbed: Your question is rather, hypothetical and about "feeling" ! Christianity is not a cult, as it is about relationship . Religion, on the other hand is about "cult" practices - not spirituality ! Spirituality involves relationship with Jesus Christ which leads to a relationship with Him. This supplies you with purpose and direction, which leads one through life in the present and results into a future. Christianity defines who you ARE, as an individual - a source of true, positive identity, as a human being .

Curious. Did the Christian cultists orchestrate nerve gas attacks on Roman subways?

Wouldn't change my opinion...but keep in mind I'm not a Christian and I do think it started as a cult, so my opinion of that religion is already pretty low.
