My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for about 3 months and now he wants me to meet his ex girlfriend of a few years. They are still good friends and this seems important to him but I'm so nervous about it. Should I just suck it up and meet her?

Yes, meet her. If they're really just friends then it's OK. Don't act all cold and bitchy, take the high road. He's YOUR man now, you have nothing to worry about or be threatened by.

It shows a lot that he is friends with his ex. It shows a maturity about him. I would go meet his ex, obviously you are important to him because he wants you to meet his ex which is a good friend. Remember, whether you like her or not tell him you like her. You don't have love her but you don't want to get between him and a friend. You need to be number one in his life so make sure this ex and others dont take away from that.

well what for really is she going to be at the wedding. There really must be some other benefit here, or is this a test his he is playing. it all comes down to what are the benefits going to be from this. Do you really need to meet her to have a successful relationship with him? there are questions that need to be answered before you jump into a question that cant be answer you see. Ask your boyfriend, what are the benefits of this meeting going to be for our relationship. If he get a little confused or questions you aggressively then you simply explain well honey i have no problem meeting anyone but i will need to know if meeting your ex girl friend is going to benefit us being together.

If she has been his friend for a long while, even if she is his ex sometimes people just don't get a long as a couple and make better friends. Tell him how you feel but also if you know it's important to him, find out why. Good luck

You could meet her, but you don't have to be her friend. I don't think he should be friends with her either, not after dating that long.
On the other hand, I've always heard to "keep you friends close and your enemies closer."
Either way, you should really watch that situation.
