Only if they can plant in my forehead. I could lose my hand.
I know about the 666 thing. If we needed a chip we could use our DNA one day instead. Computers will recognize that so there is no need for a chip. Prevents some of them tracking you. If there would be most would not agree to it. However some employers already got there employees to get it. We might need it for identity theft. US army tested it. Pretty interesting theory. Maybe the bible was talking about the roman empire?

I have one already, and I'm holding it in my paw right now. It's called a credit card. I won't name the brand, because of the Y!A community rules.
I find it more convenient to keep it in my wallet than under my dermis, but I suppose the latter would make it harder to lose. This is an important consideration if you're a dog, because dogs lose their ID all the time, which is why we microchip dogs but not humans.
Do you Fundies reckon you're getting a teensy bit paranoid about the Revelations "Mark of the Beast" thing?

Depends. Is there a convenient off switch if I don't want to use it anymore? Because without that feature, I would feel somewhat intruded upon...
EDIT: Also, they aren't allowed to take away the option of using cash. And the chip better be pretty un-hackable. So, you see, for all the lunatics ranting about it being the mark of the beast, its more stupid than satanic.

I'm curious why this question is directed only at "Non Christians" ...
But the answer is, given the choice, NO I would not be inclined to accept a chip.

No. But not because of the "mark of the Beast" thing... I just think it's gross. Put the chip on a ring I can wear. I could even handle having something glued to my thumbnail. But a chip *in* me? Nooooo.
Probably not, anyway.

would say no,but ,why you ask non Christians,is it because you give for granted ,that 'Christians' would say no ,in theory maybe, but suppose if this chip becomes reality,at the moment of truth who knows who will accept or not this device, and it can happen that everyone ,including you will be marked as well?
a challenge for every human in this planet,in special the people in industrialized nations, because the custom of our commodities...

Seeing as how all of Christianity is strictly against it I don't think anyone would be so bold as to suggest it. No need to worry about the chip, David.

No. I don't want a world wide tracking system inside my body that may one day come to misuse by a currupt government.
