Go to www.lowes.com and check out the interactive paint guide. Choose a room and go through the paint colors, painting that room. It even lets you choose the color of your furniture so you can see how well it will go.

I recommend lavendar or light yellow. Just make sure to choose colors that are a lighter shade than what you want. Trust me, once you get the whole room (or house) painted, its going to look a lot brighter and darker than what you expected. So go light. Also make sure and air out the house so you don't suffocate. Try doing one room at a time and sleeping in the opposite side of the house. Blue I know seems masculine but it might look cute to do a blue and purple theme!

The first thing to do is the prep work...Spackle holes...sand...apply a good quality stain blocking primer and have it tinted a shade or two lighter than the actual wall color.Tape around moldings and windows with painters tape.Warm golds, yellows are cozy and feminine.Watch Get Color on hgt channel for ideas. Also Lowe's has lovely shades to chose.from

Try going with Earth tones, Dark reds, Greens , Browns. Spanish style is very nice. Inside its all about wall decorations and lots of colors.
