All employment is pretty much a bummer and bad for your health. ;)

My first official employment was fast food. I remember the manager specifically instructing the cashier to short change customers until the missing $20 broke even. There were other horrors, but...

If you don't eat their food, then working in any restaurant probably won't affect your health. Of course, this assumes that the restaurant has proper sanitation and proper ventillation of cooking smoke and other fumes from cleaning products. .

Yes and no. I don't think it will make you gain a lot of weight if you don't eat it all the time or give you some disease. However, if you are frying a lot of food your skin will absorb alot of the fat from it and make your skin much more oily. You might find you get acne from the build up of oil, and your hair will feel heavier (oilier) if you don't wash daily.
