We have the right to believe in our own faith and Religion and I have noticed that some people here are judging others for their beliefs and telling them to convert and don't trust your Religion.

But isn't that taking away their freedom of choice?

God Bless You

Stick to your guns hun, and hang in there.

No matter who we are, there'll always be someone waiting to convert us. Don't let them try to wear you down, inflame or intimidate you. I've seen your other posts and I know you have a gentle Light. Don't let anyone take that away from you!

Yes, I answered the Catholic Church as some kind of anti-Christ question also. I just wish that fellow Christians could at least accept that we are all saved. I'm not on here to convert anybody, just clarify.
I don't know if it is taking away freedom of choice considering I have the choice to accept what the person said or think he or she is absolutely wrong. They have the freedom to post the question, unfortunately.
God bless you, too.

No. A person's freedom is only restricted by other people's words if the person allows their freedom to be so restricted. You're the one who gives yourself permission to be restricted in that case, or you can forget about it. Otherwise, it's up to the law, which in my country still protects freedom of religion.

ETA: And yes to the main question. I was answering the details, mostly. It's silly to let anyone else's words restrict *your* choices.

Yes, everyone has every right to believe in what ever nonsense they choose to believe in... however, you do not have the right to impose any part of your personal beliefs on any individual or society as a whole.

Religion is being abused by those in power to create legislation that caters to the minority of fundamentalist believers. Not to mention attacks by other religious groups that kill hundreds. Wars fought in the name of religion (yes, the current struggle in in the middle east qualifies)....

If you want to believe that an invisible man in the sky controls your life... by all means, knock yourself out... just do it on your own time in your own home. That is all there is to it.

No more than you are taking away someone's freedom of choice to try and convert someone. As soon as you start laying down rules that people are not allowed to try and convert people, you become guilty of the very thing you are accusing others of.

Yes, the right to hold religious beliefs is a fundamental and non negotiable human right.

No, people expressing their own beliefs is sometimes bad manners, but doesn't necessarily infringe the first principle.

May your God bless you, too.

Hey, nothing is forced. The most anyone can really do is suggest. I do suggest leaving Catholicism....the beast of Revelation 17.

But can I force you? no. Do you have to take my suggestion, even if its out of genuine concern and not judgement?? NO..

I love you and hope you leave it. But it is your choice.

EDIT: Thats too bad Susan...any reason you even refused to read that question?? Afraid there may be truth in it??

I think you are great and you deserve better than an antichrist system that came from paganism. Sorry for thinking so highly of you and wanting the best for you and your family. I can see how evil that is.

Everyone has the right to not only believe what they wish but to be free of others telling them they are wrong for that belief.

Freedom of Choice is never taken away it is surrendered....

Absoulutely we have the right to choose our own religion. To try to convert people, in my opinion, is wrong..People dont want to be told there wrong. If i went up to a christian and said "Your wrong come my way"
Wth kinda response do you think i would get?
