Does anyone know of any good programs to create picture DVD/CDroms? I have Windows Memory disc, but it has NO features whatsoever. I also have windows Movie maker, but it won;t play on a DVD. I checked Downloa.com, everything seems to be strictly for organizing and viewing. ANY SUGGESTIONS!??!!?!

Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, there are no free programs for this purpose ... most of the free slideshow creation programs won't allow you to burn onto DVD (not right formats) ... and NONE of the free programs are very configurable. I have done significant research into these kinds of programs.

The very best program I have found is well worth the money for it.
It is proshow gold by photodex and costs $80 (for CD, $70 for download only). http://www.photodex.com

Ubuntu Linux, gNewSense Linux, any Linux that Microsoft hasn't bought yet. Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft will run on a mic box as a separate OS but can access the NTFS drives and folders.

Try Picasa. That's what I use, and its free and powerful. Its from Google.

It allows you to organize your photos, back them up and make photo cds or dvds, as you wish. You just have to organize your photos well and then just select the folders you want to burn to create a photo disc...
