Social Security can't ever be bankrupt right? Plus there's 401K. These two things should keep me alive when I turn 67 with no cash right? My grandpa stays in a nursing home that costs $70,000 a year but the government pays for it all because he's poor. He just has to give up his social security which is $300 bucks a month anyways. He could also stay in a private hospital room for free. By the way I'm 21 years old.

I don't think ss is going to be there 46 yrs from now. they may come up w/ some other concept similar by then. Unless you're putting $ away now in your 401 then don't rely on that alone. Plus think about how much a nursing home will be 46 yrs from now if it's 70k now. Get a job that has a pension plan.
