Ok, to start, I am REALLY shy, 15. But sometimes I just jump out of that shell and put on an attitude I would love to wear all day, but just can't.

Anyway, today I jumped up and did something in front of the whole school with a couple of other kids, now this guy I like (who liked me) seems kind of put off. What happened, he is really confident, so why would he not like me being confident?

We were just acquaintances, to be honest. I am regretting going up there now, one of the reasons I did it was so he could see I was willing to step up to the plate a little more if he would make the first move.

I feel like an idiot over analyzing the situation now. :[

I'm like that too. I would walk through the school hallways without looking up but then later in P.E. I was like woo hoo. It looked like i was putting on a show and being fake but i wasn't trying to be fake. I think that's why he looked put off, but if he can't handle your confident side too then he isn't worth you. Maybe try to blend the shy and the confident sides of you. Then if you slide a bit more one way, it won't look too much like a show.

Well don't be passive all the time. You've got to be assertive at least a little. If you want to get along with someone, the number 1 rule is to not directly insult anything they like. If you didn't do that he's obviously not worth the trouble.
