after that I eat a low calorie protein bar and go to the gym to work out. I have a small breakfast, a very very small lunch, and a regular dinner. Is what I'm doing considered Yo-Yo dieting?

no - yo yo dieting is when you go on a diet for a period of time - like 2 weeks, a month, etc. then go back to your normal way of eating... and the cycle repeats

I forget all the time. No biggie. If you're going to the gym to workout, make sure you are getting enough calories to support your workout. Trim, yes, but be healthy overall.
