Yeah but some of these questions are a lot of fun as well. Liven up a bit and give those questions the answers they deserve!

Sometimes I think they come from the asker's own life situation. Other times I think they are a result of him or her worrying about a family member or close friend. For me anyway, sometimes there has to be a real trigger incident to come into this forum -- like I am worried about a friend or don't understand why he is acting so differently than he usually acts. There are some pretty knowledgeable people in here and they have reassured me at times.

While I might share some of your feelings on this issue, they really do come from people who want to know. Not everyone has the experience that others have. I am also sure that somethings that go unasked could very well be answered by those who ask questions on this site. None of us can know everything, but all of us do have questions that we want to have an answer to.

Most of them come from very young people; youth generally equates to ignorance (which is NOT the same thing as stupidity). Be glad they're asking, rather than just speculating.
