It is Friday dark till Saturday dark. Sabbath is very important and is a commandment. Also spoken of as a seal in Revelation.

Anyone keep it? If you desire to, a step by step is here, under "how to celebrate the Sabbath" on the left. http://www.returntogod.com

Also, Jews will tell you you arent supposed to keep it... dont listen. Remember, they think Jesus was an idiot. So why take their advice? We are to keep the Shabbat/Sabbath I assure you.

It's in their Old Testament. You are Messianic. You don't want to be Xtian, why is that? Are they not good enough for you? Yet you're not a Jew. And you dare to slander us.

You can't tell Xtians how to celebrate a sabbath. It is up to their interpretation. The "Shabbat" you speak of has so many laws I can't envision anyone wanting to follow them. For information on the real Shabbat, check a real Jewish website: http://www.jewfaq.org/shabbat.htm
As was stated above me, the sabbath may be different between Jew and Xtian, but the intent is the same, both is a desire to keep G-d's laws, even if they be a different interpretation.

Also, if you were a real Jew, and if you really did keep the Sabbath, you would know that it begins way before dark on Friday and way after dark on Saturday.

But then again, you're not a Jew...just a deceiver...

And JC wasn't an idiot. He was a wise person. Just not our messiah.

Actually Jews do not believe Jesus was an idiot - they simply didn't believe He was the Messiah. They had great respect for him as rabbi. Every Jewish person I know honors and keeps the Sabbath day holy. The difference between them and me is that I keep a different day of the week as the Sabbath than they do. Our rituals are different, the intent behind the observance is the same. My sabbath day is spent in the service of the Lord, in worship and then at home with my family - not out shopping or watching movies or eating out or anything else.

nerd: The Nazi concentration camps are full of the ashes of people who "kept the Sabbath" of the Old Covenant [Testament] or the Torah ! The Sabbath was designated by God for the Jews of the Old Covenant but is not binding on the Christians of the New Covenant [ Testament]. Jesus Christ annulled the laws, statutes and commandments found within the Old Testament, upon His murder and death, on the cross. Christians of the New Covenant are called "spiritual Jews" in Christ. The Sabbath observation of the 10 Commandments is NON-applicable to Christians, today, as we are now, in the New Testament [Covenant - contract]. - More Jesus and less religion !!!

The first Christians met on the day after the sabbath for celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord celebrating the Eucharist-it's in Acts.

In Christ we have been set free of dead works like circumcision and keeping the sabbath.

I keep the Sabbath because God has commanded us to keep it in the very beginning when He created everything. (Genesis)

Even if Jews think we shouldn't keep the Sabbath, still we should, even all the other Holy Feasts. Remember they are the shadow of events to come when Messiah returns!

Shabbat Shalom!

That's silly you think the world started on a Sunday. Any day can be the sabbath depending on which day you start counting. So Sunday is just as much a sabbath as Saturday unless you can prove the world started on Sunday. OO
