Personally, I believe humans are no different from all the scared little animals except that human behavior is vastly more complex. All this bad karma seems motivated by fear, and we fear whatever seemingly threatens our safety net. Hatred and aggression are defense mechanisms.

No, psychology is false religion, just like everything else but God's way. And what I might call Bible-based Christianity might mean something quite different to you, reading those same words. The Bible explains human behavior. The Bible explains history. The Bible explains God's timetable for the earth. All of life can be explained in the context of the Bible being absolute truth. I choose to interpret psychology in light of the Bible, and I find psychology has the stench of death about it. And you are justifiably scared, if you're human and are not yet one of the saved, because you will face trial, judgment and sentencing.

I think it explains some forms of human behavior. But there are people that have demons in them. I also believe in God and if the Bible says that there is a satan then, this is true. You can't believe in God and not believe in the devil. You also can't pick and choose what you want to believe out of the Bible. You either accept God's word or you don't. Thats like picking which 10 commandments you want to follow. you follow only 2, 5, and 6, but the rest don't count.

Yes. Human beings don't need satan to act in self-defense. Wars fueled by fear, and governments motivate violent behavior against their ememies by exploiting that fear. People don't kill other people over racial, cultural or religious differences - they kill those whom they perceive as threats. All wars begin with a campaign to demonize the enemy.

I myself do not believe in the entity of Satan. However, I do believe in God and I do believe that there must be the opposite. If there is God, there must be something "bad".

I believe that Satan is simply the human ego, except we personified it and gave it a pitch fork, red body and a tail. The ego is what truly seperates us from reaching our highest potential and evolving into better people. It seperates us from God.

I also believe "demons" would be negative manifestations of unresolved emotions. I guess that is where "inner demons" comes from!

We need physchology to explain human behavior because humans need explanations for things. Like when you go to the therapist, you are depressed or etc. You are going there so that he can't diagnose you, and explain why. If there was no psychology it would be a lot harder to define why people are they way they are, and give special treatment to those who need it.
