Yes, absolutely. He's too deep to explain Himself. Our minds are so finite. He's infinite. (I don't claim to understand the Trinity.) But I worship one God in the person of Jesus Christ.

God is Who He is - He is one God in three different persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I'm not understanding the 'don't you need' part if you are saying that there is separation between the Trinity, each individual is fully God, and together they make up one God.

Trinity is shown in both the old and new testament. In the old testament God said let us create man in our image. Notice the plurality of that statement. Also when Shadrac Meshec and Abindigo were in the fire they looked in ans saw a fourth man who they said looked like the son of God. There are other verses as well but too time consuming for me right now, True Christians do not teach more than one God but that God is three persons in One God. Jesus said I and the father are one.

I personally do not understand this trinity thing. It makes absolutely no sense to me. I will say though, that the Old Testament does not support the claim that it is monotheistic. The translators of the OT hide the name YWHW behind the word LORD in all caps. Elohim is translated as God, even though God is El in Hebrew. Elohim is the plural form of El. YWHW Elohim is translated as the LORD God. A literal translation, however, would be YWHW Gods. Some believe that each letter of YWHW stands for a separate entity: The Father (God), The Mother (The Holy Spirit), The Son (Christ), and The Daughter (Sophia).
Besides that, the God of the OT and others talk about other gods. YHWH even states that he is Jealous of other gods.
"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God" ~Exodus 34:14
If there are no other gods, then of whom is he jealous?
"God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods." ~Psalm 82:1
"upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments." ~Numbers 33:4
How do you execute judgment upon gods that do not exist?
"Who among the gods is like you, O LORD?" ~Exodus 15:11
"Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people." ~Exodus 22:28
"For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel." ~2 Chronicles 28:23
How do gods smite and help the kings of Syria if no other Gods besides YWHW exist?

Yes, just the one God. The 3 entities are the Trinity, this is Catholisism, not all Christians are Catholics. I'm not Catholic and there fore don't have any belief in the Trinity.

God is like water not really but its a metaphore. Water has 3 states liquid, vapor, and solid all are h20 but are diffrent. As is God. He's father, son, and holy ghost but all are still God in one. The God that created the earth and you and me he is a infinite god and supreme. We cant even attempt to try to figure it all out.All we can do is trust him and ask him for wisdom.
