Why am I here?
Don't get me wrong, I've lived what I think is a good and moral life. I've tried to increase the love in the world, like I see some (very few) true believers in God doing. So I have some hope that, even though I'm not a Christian, Budhist, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, etc. that I can reach a place like "Heaven" and see "God" if such a place exists.
I simply am Agnostic (tending towards Atheistic), and don't see enough evidence of God or those who worship God (particularly in the Christian-heavy USA) to believe that following a God causes good things to happen. I see wars fought in God's name (even though Christians say 'Thou Shall Not Kill' and that it's God's job to judge). I see so many examples of people claiming to do God's work that don't seem to match even the 10 commandments.
Now, all that said, I do see *some* of God's followers increasing the love in the world. In doing good and charitable work. In sharing their opinion quietly and confidently w/those that don't believe as they do, without the threat of Hell or damnation or the like. It's those people I gravitate to, regardless of their religion. They are simply good people, increasing love in the world. They are wonderful ambassadors for their religion, and more importantly (to me at least) for being good in this life, here and now, as it matters as much or more as how life will be in Heaven.
What I don't get is how at least 2 of the world's major religions-- not to mention even 2 different sects of Christianity-- believe that if one does not follow their religion, then they will not make it into the equivalent of "Heaven." If that's the case, then no one's making it into Heaven.
So I return to my original answer; I would ask Her/Him: Why am I here (How does anyone get to Heaven when no one should, and how did I get here without believing in a particular religion)?
I certainly do hope that your God exists, and that you get to ask Him your questions... and get answers. I hope that time comes when you are ready for it, and your life has been filled with good, and spent increasing the love in the world.

I do not imagine I'll ask Him any questions as any concerns I have now will become moot. On a lighter note, a pastor of mine from years ago often joked about heaven having an "information booth" where anyone could go to ask questions.

I don't think I'll have any questions for Him. I'm going to need to ask His forgiveness for all the things that I did wrong, and I definitely will want to thank Him for His love and mercy.
Mostly, though, I'd just like to sit at His feet and listen to Him.

Wow! I think that for the first 10,000 years or so, I'll probably walk around looking up as my mouth hangs open! I really don't know what I'll ask him, but I have a feeling that everything will be revealed and there will be no more or very little mystery left.

If I am so blessed as to be in the presence of Allah (SWT) I will have no questions, Only thankfullness to be in his presence and I will submit to him and prostrate to him and give him the respect he is due and thank him for the life he has given me. No Questions will be neccessary. Because I understand that he has a reason for every thing he does and I don't need to know all the answers.

me too, it is an exciting prospect for sure,,but I always wanted to know what made him think up trees. They are so beautiful in the spring, and I always loved to climb them. and Why does my dad deny you ? Why wont certain people listen to me, answered prayer for praise,,,This has been prayed about by me, and answered , I have literally begged for their freedom to choose. Not be forced because of death threats. Praise him. Link below. How can you not feel for someone who is trapped in fear ?

I don't think we'll even have to ask.
"Now we see through a glass, darkly. But then, face to face." --I Corinthians 13:12
I think Gd will be happy to answer the questions he wants us to know eventually. All in His time.

I don't think I would be asking any as when we go to heaven all of that stuff will be gone from our hearts and minds. we will just be heavenly beings with no worries or pain or questions of the past or future

Why are you waiting? And what are you looking for if you don't think you see God every day?

The only question I will ask Him is "How can I serve you life after life?"
