DO something! Anything..... watch a really good movie & eat popcorn.....take a bath/shower.....take a long walk....go shopping.....make a phonecall (long one)..... clean house (yuck).....sort through old papers.....or photos....... The list is endless. What appeals to you?
Just don't start up again. If you've made it this far.....don't turn back now! Hang in there just a little bit longer ( I hear it gets easier after the first month....3 weeks actually). Good luck to you!

Do something positive with your anxiety. Go drive around or see a movie where you couldn't smoke anyway. Maybe talk to your doctor about some anti-depressants, as they are usually used for more than just that. I am going on 7 months smoke free!!! Good luck and hang in there!!!!

The anxiety will pass and return periodically for about 90 since your last cigarrette. Walking and water are good for knocking down the anxiety. If it looks like you will cave in then have some nicorette chewing gum handy to help you get over the temporary anxiety. Don't chew a piece for more than five minutes. Use as necessary.
