Some guys aren't mature enough to have girls as just friends...then other times, nature takes its course. Either way, you can't change the guys. Some of my most valued friendships have been with guys. My best friend happens to be my boyfriend. It's magical when you have the best of both worlds.

Any attractive girl is going to have this problem. The best option I can offer is find guys who already have girlfriends. You would assume (or at least hope) that they wouldn't have any interest since they should be loyal to the person they're with.
Granted that probably isn't the reality of the situation but it's all I got. You could also try making friends with gay people. I don't mean that as a joke or slander either. I used to have a few co-workers who had gay friends and they were quite happy hanging out with them because they knew that the thought never even crossed the guy's mind.

1) Don't worry about your grammar. You don't have to explain it to anyone. I know a lot of people on here have problems with the way others spell, but WE ALL have some type of weakness.
2) Let them know from the very beginning you are not looking for anything more than friendship. Then show that by not spending a lot of extra time with them. Try not to be real cuddly. Sometimes people mistake innocent affection for love.

I get what your problem (same here)- guys aren't looking for friendship or they're so shocked when a girl is actually nice to them that they fall head over heels (SAD ain't it) oh well my only suggestion is_At the beginning make a point of saying you're just looking for friendship. Good luck!

Grammar is spelled like this... Nah! Just kidding lol! Try having a guy friend that is exactly the opposite of you or if there calls for desperate measures, have a gay guy friend. They're lots of fun and you can even take them them shopping with you! Hope this helped! :D

Find yourself some gay guys. Better yet stick to girls for friendship.
Also normal guys will make a move on any female that seems receptive. The girls answering the question seem to misinterpret that as an indication of attractiveness. They are deceiving themselves.

Make sure that you are not flirting too much with these guy friends. Males seem to think about intimacy with a girl a lot more than girls generally do. Set clear boundries for your guy friends if they try anything. Oh, and get some friends that are girls too.

Let them know up front that you're not interested in being anything but friends. They may not like it (few boys do), but at least you can say that you're being honest with them.
However, just make sure that you're not doing or saying anything that might indicate that you would consider dating them. Guys pick up on things like that. So be sure to cut down on the flirting and such things and you'll be okay.
You'll be okay. Just make your intentions clear and you shouldn't have too many problems.

Friendships are hard when the other person doesn't feel the same way like just wanting to be friends. Maybe you could tell them straight up, I don't date friends.

Men will only talk to women that they would sleep with. That's the only reason we talk to them and treat them nicely, there's something attractive enough about them that makes us want to hit it. By nature we're extrememly shallow people. You could always hang out with gay guys. Otherwise, always remember that every single guy that you consider your friend would have sex with you in front of their grandparents if you asked them to.
